Since Winstrol (stanozolol) has substantial properties in it, it is effective in treatment of urticaria, Raynaud’s phenomenon, cryptofibrinogenemia and lipodermatosclerosis. It is also used in the treatment of osteonecrosis in some cases. It has also been in use in treatment of AIDS wasting syndrome.
However, stanozolol drug causes some side effects:
- Liver Toxicity: the most hazardous side effects of Winstrol are liver toxicity or jaundice, although this has been documented mainly in people who overused the drug for extended periods of time.
- Breast Development: overuse of Winstrol also has been indicated to create excess breast tissue in men.
- Side Effects in Women: women can have temporary side effects including clitoris enlargement, a deeper voice and irregular periods.
- Rare Side Effects: rare side effects associated with Winstrol include acne, water retention, joint pain and hypertension.
Side effects are uncommon when the Winstrol drug is used in dosages as recommended.
