Man made sterol stanozolol is similar to the natural testosterone hormone. Winstrol Depot is used for treatment of hereditary angioedema that causes swelling of face, genitals, bowel wall, throat etc. Winstrol Depot decreases the severity of the symptoms. This drug is also used for other treatments.

In some rare cases, Winstrol Depot can cause liver problems. It is wise to contact the doctor if you experience pain in the abdomen, light colored stools, dark urine, weakness, nausea, vomiting, pigmentation of eyes, skin, etc. Winstrol Depot should not be administered if you suffer from prostate cancer, breast cancer; a hypercalcemia, or high calcium levels in blood. Before taking Winstrol Depot, discuss with your physician if you suffer from heart or blood vessel disease, heart attack, high cholesterol level in the blood, have bleeding or blood clotting problems, have diabetes, etc. You also must be cautious if you take an oral anticoagulant or blood thinner or have liver and kidney problems.

Winstrol Depot also should not be taken by pregnant mothers as it is suspected to cause birth defects in unborn babies. It is not tested if the drug passes through the breast milk of the breast feeding mothers.

Winstrol Depot should be administered along with one full glass of water. This drug can also be taken with or without food and it is recommended taking the drug regularly for gaining maximum benefit from Winstrol Depot. Blood tests and other related tests have to be done on a regular basis in order to record the response of your body to Winstrol Depot.

Winstrol Depot must be stored at room temperature away from direct heat, light and moisture.

In case if you happen to miss a dose, do not have both the doses together. If the dosage clashes, it is better to avoid the previous dose and continue with the current dose. It is also better to consult your physician in case of any doubts regarding the dosage amount.

Winstrol Depot overdose is unlikely to threaten life. However, it is wise to contact the nearest emergency poison control center for removing the excessive dosage from the body. Overdose symptoms are yet unclear.

Winstrol Depot interacts with certain medicines however; it is not known to interact with foods, beverages, or any activities.

Some of the rare side effects of the drug include liver problems. If you experience:

• abdominal pain
• light colored stools
• dark colored urine
• unusual fatigue
• nausea or vomiting
• yellowing of the skin or eyes

They could be signaling liver problems. It is wise to contact the doctor if you suffer from side effects of allergic reactions like,

• difficulty in breathing
• closing of the throat
• swelling of the lips tongue, or face
• hives
• swelling of the arms or legs especially ankles
• frequent or persistent erections
• breast tenderness or breast enlargement in male patients
• voice changes like hoarseness, deepening
• hair loss
• facial hair growth
• clitoral enlargement
• menstrual irregularities in female patients

Some of the other less serious side effects like:

• new acne
• insomnia
• headache
• changes in sexual desire

Drug to Drug Interactions:

• Blood thinners like warfarin, Coumadin, insulin or other oral diabetic drug like glipizide drug glucotrol, glyburide drug DiaBeta, Glynase, Micronase, glimepiride Amaryl, chlorpropamide drug Diabinese, acetohexamide drug Dymelor, tolbutamide drug Orinase, tolazamide drugTolinase are found to interact with winstrol.
