Sustanon injection contains 4 testosterone esters. These are derivatives of the naturally occurring male hormone testosterone. They are converted in the body to testosterone.

Sustanon has blood cell forming effect which may be beneficial for those suffering from deficiency of red blood cells. However increased production of red blood cells can be harmful in normal healthy individuals. Sustanon has also been known to alter the blood pressure where in it results in increase in the blood pressure levels.
