The ketoprofen drug Oruvail belongs to the NSAID class of drugs. The main role of Oruvail is to reduce the amount of harmful hormones in the body that causes pain and inflammation. Oruvail is therefore useful for persons suffering from arthritis. However, Oruvail is also useful for treating the menstrual symptoms.
Oruvail is effective in treating fever, pain, and inflammation reactions in the body. Oruvail is mainly useful in relieving mild to moderate pain due to injury, menstrual cramps, arthritis, and related musculoskeletal conditions.
Drug Administration
The maximum allowed dosage limit of Oruvail is 200 mg per 24 hours. However, the dosage amount depends upon the medical conditions, body response to the treatment, etc. Increased dosage might lead to stomach bleeding and not more than 100 mg is allowed if you suffer from kidney diseases. It is recommended to take the lowest possible dose to overcome Oruvail side effects. The medication is taken orally along with one full glass of water. It is required that the patient does not lie down at least for half an hour upon the drug administration. The medicine should be swallowed as a whole and should not be chewed. In order to prevent stomach upset, take Oruvail along with food, milk, or antacid.
Oruvail takes approximately 2 to 4 weeks for complete cure.
Missed Dose
In some cases, Oruvail is administered as and when required by the body. Hence there is no specific dosage time; however, if you happen to miss a dose, do not have both the doses together. If the dosage clashes, it is better to avoid the previous dose and continue with the current dose. It is also better to consult your physician in case of any doubts regarding the dosage amount.

Precautions
Prolonged Oruvail treatment might lead to developing heart disorders that includes strokes, heart attack, etc. Person who have undergone recent heart bypass surgery should not attempt to use this medicine. Persons in this case might experience symptoms like weakness, chest pain, problems with balance or vision or shortness of breath, etc. In some cases, the drug might increase severe damage to the intestines, stomach, like perforation, bleeding, etc. Oruvail must be used cautiously in elder patients as they are more sensitive to the drug side effects.
Oruvail Overdose
It is recommended seeking medical help when you have drug overdose symptoms like nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, dark colored or bloody stools, blood coughing, less urination or nil urination, shallow breathing, fainting, seizures, coma, etc.
